Periodic Inspections

Where clients do not have professional engineers on their staff, Muirhead can

arrange regular visits by engineers to carry out inspection of equipment to

ascertain and report on such aspects as:-

   The state of maintenance

   Safety with respect of statutory regulations

   Economy in the use of fuels and electrical energy

   Problems relating to the operation of electrical equipment

   Any particular investigation required by the client.

The visits, normally annually, can be varied to meet the client’s requirements.

Muirhead staff are qualified to cover all the multi-disciplinary aspects encountered

at the Client’s establishment.  A letter-type Report is issued following each visit

confirming or enlarging on the main points established during the periodic inspection

and including recommendations.

Advice on Electricity

Where clients do not have the necessary expertise, Muirhead will carry out a

review of the monthly electricity for a particular site or

establishment:-

    Checks for any metering and accountancy errors

    Annual analysis of the electricity consumptions

     Advice on whether the tariffs in use are the, most economical for the Client

    A yearly cost forecast of the Client’s future use of electricity
